I was born and raised in Southern California. Animals have always been a part of my life. Growing up I had many animals: chickens, ducks, rabbits, goats, cats and dogs. I even raised pigs, in high school, in the FFA program. I really became interested in dog training when my family and I bought a Labrador retriever puppy. He was very rambunctious, so we had an in-home dog trainer help us. I was amazed at how this person could handle our dog and make him so obedient. From that point on, I knew becoming a dog trainer is what I wanted to do in life. After high school I attended and graduated from Animal Behavior College. I also began visiting shelters to spend time with the dogs. It made me sad see not only see how many dogs there are but how many of them are owner surrendered. My goals are to help owners effectively communicate and create a stronger bond with their dog, along with helping shelter dogs find their forever home.
