Artemis, a German Shepherd/Husky from Temple City, CA., went through the Balanced Canine Training SoCal 1 Week Board & Train dog training program. Artemis was trained by dog trainer Amanda Lascari in La Habra Heights, CA.
Artemis, a 3 year old German Shepher/Husk, has joined our two week board and train program. This handsome boy loves going for walks, but likes to pull on the leash towards animals and larger vehicles he sees. He has come to work on his obedience commands and leash manners. Stay tuned to check out Artemis’s progress!

Artemis went to the park today to work on commands. We practiced come, sit, and break. We also worked on the heel command to stop his leash pulling. It‘s still a work in progress but he did pretty good for his first time learning the new commands.

Today Artemis and I went to Home Depot to work on commands, around distractions. We practiced place, down, sit and heel. I thought he was going to be scared of being on the cart, since it moved and was uneven, but he climbed up on it like a champ. Artemis is doing awesome with the heel command! He hardly pulls on the leash now.

Artemis enjoyed the day out Venice Beach. We worked on all commands with high distractions. He did awesome, ignoring all the people and noises around him. We also found a washed up boat along the beach to take a picture in front of.

Artemis enjoyed a fun day out at the park and hiking some trails today. He saw some squirrels and ducks, while at the park, which he interested in but he didn’t try to chase or run after them. Artemis did an awesome job today with all the commands, he can’t wait to go home tomorrow and show his family everything he has learned.
